Chunky Tiffany and a "What Is It" today

Bobbie

New member
J-man and I packed up and headed to the lane today. Rare sunshine in these parts.......we've had more than our share of 40 days of rain already. Day off for me......enuff with the overtime!! Arrived at high tide, dry sanded for a while and got real lucky with paper and clad along with a nice heavy Tiffany & Co. .925
Found "What is it" in the water, it had been there for a long time and had quite a bit of gunk on it. The more I rubbed, the shinnier it became with the color gold. Turns out to be an elephant's head on top of the country of India. It is quite heavy for it's size and is not gold plated, nor is it marked in any way. Naturally I have to order more solution for my tester!

Bobbie - Nice finds. You didn't specify the size of the whatzit/elephant head. I'm guessing that it's from a charm bracelet or a chain worn around the neck. In any case it's a real nice find. Were the $4.00 buried in the sand in a pack of cigarettes?
