I set out today with two goals in mind. At least 100 coins, and at least 10 bucks in clad. I stopped to empty the pencil pieces out of my pocket toward the end of the hunt, at least 25 of them, and counted coins. 63 coins and 13 quarters. 13 quarters is the theme of 2011 for me thus far. I didn't have much left in my tank so I quit when I got tired. Oddly it was at the 2 hour mark which is exactly where I have ended almost all of my 2011 outings. My internal clock is still working fine. Wound up with 78 coins for just over 8 bucks. Short of my goal. :( A nifty little silver ring that I sliced up with my Lesche. A 20 cent Euro coin, France, that I put into a 2x2 before I realized I hadn't snapped a photo yet. I am finding a lot of Euros lately. Maybe a trip to Europe is in my future!!! Some ladies name badge that I meant to flip over when I took the photo so I fogged out her name.

I've been sticking very close to home so far in 2011 and haven't hit too many old sites. 7 hunts and I've driven less than 100 miles. I am hopeful that some better "treasure" is coming. It is all treasure, though.

And before anybody comments, I have slipped back into my awful paper towel habit. Yes that is the same paper towel from last hunt, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one........ I'm gonna use it until Uncle Willy calls me cheap again! Hurry back, buddy!

Chris

PS Nice photo on my paper clip. Cruddy photo of my ring.

Way to go Chris. I have been able to detect for a total of an hour so far. And just in my driveway...no coins yet this year.

Nice finds pal, still waiting for the snow to go. It might be awhile(snowing right now). Happy hunting

what were the years on the coins?

All modern this hunt. A fairly new site.
