Christmas week hunts.:garrett:

Haven't had a lot of time afield the past week or so, but did manage a few old coins and curios from the woods and a couple of other spots. Did manage a couple of fresh from the ground shots one day when it wasn't all that muddy or raining. Note one of the dimes was almost pin pointer deep. That was a faint peep, one. Otherwise, conditions were usually such I didn't carry the camera. Or, if I did, didn't find anything worth while.

Two different hunts yielded 2 Merc's each outing and on one, the 1906 I H and the 1937 Buffalo. Another hunt yielded the 36 Buffalo and 36 Washington and one hunt yielded the clad Kennedy half and the 54 Rosie. Dug the old pendent type, what I think is a watch, from the woods and have been soaking it to see if I can get it open. The crack pipe, which has some metal inserts on it for taking the bowl and stem apart, also came from the woods. Also dug a dozen or so wheat cents throughout these outings.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and can use the next few days of this year to reach any goals one might have by years end. HH jim tn

Plenty of silver there, clad 1/2, hippie hardware, miné, a watch and more. That doesn't get dull at all. Jim, I always look forward to your digs, you always have a great mix of old and new.

Nice on the items and silvers.:clapping:

Great finds Jim! :clapping:

Have a Happy New Year - Planning on getting one more night hunt in this year and am ready for a productive 2015!

Thanks guys. I am going to have to hit one h**l of a silver coin spill to hit the 150 mark this year, Mud, these last few days. Shy about a dozen silver coins currently, it looks like. Been a fun year, though, with no regrets. Good luck CZ on your last hunt of the year. Happy New Year, all. HH jim tn

150?...Only a dozen away? Yes, I think you need to try at least....you are close enough to pull it off....just a couple of nice little bingos will fill out your card!

I got into a few massive deep multidenom clad spills over the weekend, sounded like crap, so I'm sure theres a few big multidenom silver/nickel/penny spills out there that may have seen a coil before and been passed over...maybe not by your coil, but still...Strange year indeed!...

Nov here was the MOST snow ever recorded on record, and Dec was the LEAST...Lake Mich water level came up an unheard of 22" in the last year, completely changing the beach dynamics....As I type, theres NO snow on the ground yet the dirt was thawed over the Holidays..I punched clad....now its freezing fast tonight, so just big water for me if anything to finish out the year..Go fill your card, Jim!.:beers: Remember your strong finish last year and a heck of a strong start? That was Awesome! :surprised:

One never knows when you need to renovate the bathroom or kitchen. Nice Santa finds you got. Some grey matter and silver are always appreciated.

Great finds anywhere, any day. Funny how those dope pipes pop up here and there. I may have dropped a few back in the day myself. But those days are long gone. :lmfao:
