CHRIST REMAINS THE SAME.....Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13.8..........

We want things to remain the same. Same makes us feel safe. But the earth is in a constant state of movement. The wind blows and slowly breaks down the hillside. The rains shift the earth. The ocean tide rolls in and out. (Of which those detecting the beaches and the ocean shores are thankful for)

Life changes. Our roles in life change. We are the youngest child, the little sister, (brother), the artistic one. Soon, though, we are the dependable one that a child turns to in time of need. One day we are forced to become our parents' caregiver and we are suddenly the stable one.

What on earth is the same yesterday, today and forever? Nothing. Christ in heaven is the only thing that remains the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the One to whom we look for care, the One we depend upon in times of need, the stable One. In uncertainty He is certain.
