Pretty excited, I was one of the ones chosen by Monte for a participant in his nail board test detector evaluation. Pretty exited to put my machines through the ringer with this test. I will video and document the whole process. Much respect for Monte. He always tells it like it is no matter what brand. He seems to be enjoying the Outlaw. He must have got a good one....haha.

cant wait, we do well to listen to guys like monty

Yes indeed. I learned from quite a bit from him about detecting in general and just how good the Idx Pro really is. It's ability to pull copper/silver from the real bad iron sites is something that even the top machines have issues with. That is one machine I will never part with. If I find another one in good cosmetic shape, I will buy that one too!! In my testing I will be putting three machines head to head in various tests according to his instructions. I believe nine other people have been chosen as well. Results are due by the 31st of October and Monte will probably do a full report i'm guessing. Should be exciting.

Glad you are excited, and if anyone is using a Tesoro Discriminator w/8" or smaller coil, or a White's Classic mode, with a 6

No worries Monte, The results will be. strictly you. Aas for the sticky button, I have a somewhat similar issue. My button does not stick, so in a mechanical fashion. It always comes back out. But does get stuck in all metal sometimes when pushed in and released. More electronic issue i think than a mechanical one. Not always and very random times. Most often is when pushed with a disc setting at minimum or close to minimum. But then days go by where it's fine...it's just quirky like me.
