Choosing a detectorr

I have been using a metal detector since 1968. I do not consider myself an expert but being a golfer also I will use the following anlogy. Choosing a detector is like choosing a golf club. If you can PLAY you can hit a wooden shaft driver dead straight or use the best grafite, or composite driver and hit it straight also. If you can putt. It dosen't matter if you use an old Titleist Bullseye or the latest Scotty Cammeron. Price does matter.... If you ARE a pro. you can use anything and make it work. Start simple and then work up to what you can swing the BEST. Practice practice practice.
