Choo Choo Train Found at Beach!

Dad & I went back today, for one last visit to that little speacial beach, that we have been hitting this past week. Starting to get worked out, (for now). Dad stayed up on the grass area, and managed a small silver ear ring, and a few clads. I went down on the beach, to see if I could get any left overs from the past 2 days.. I only found about 10 coins, mostly clad. I did get one silver Roosevelt dime, that was laying under a prety good size rock. If I hadn't moved it , it would still be there. I also found a sterling bracelet that was broken, I found a real neat looking Toy Train, not to sure if it may be a Tootsie Toy, I will check it out when I clean it up. Check the pictures, and thanks for joining Dad and myself this week... Happy Hunting. I thing Spring is here.

Little train is a cool find. Is the sand moving back in? Or are the finds all found? Nice spot you had there.

How do you like the search rod setup on your Excal? Is that one of Pluggers? I recently picked up an Excal II 1000 and am having trbl decided between the extended rod, like yours, and the over / under style.

I would like to get a 'travel' version so that it breaks down into a reasonable size, as long as the search rod is a snug fit and doesn't wobble at the connections.

I can't tell from your picture if you have a knob protector on it. Assuming this is to protect the knobs from being hit as well as from accidental adjustment by rubbing against something

Hi Rich,
I love the rod that I have, got it from Pluggers. It breaks down far enough to take it on Vacation with you, but you still have to put it underneath the plain because it's to long to fit in the carry on case... I have the NEW updated version, with the wing nut, and it tightes down with NO wobbling.. Perfct for all day swining.. No Fatigue !

Hey Rick, Get one of Pluggers Travel Rods, and tell him you want one with the New SHAFT LOCKS, NOT the Camlocks!! I believe his Travel Shafts come
in TWO or THREE Piece Shafts. BEST OF LUCK, Les Robinson

Is this the same one you found or a picture of what yours LOOKED LIKE when it was new? This picture has all the WHEELS & AXLES, and yours was
MISSING Two WHEELS & AXLES!! Just curious, and STILL A NICE UNUSUAL Find!! Les Robinson
