I had an hour to kill waiting for a friend today so decided I'd try a couple of chip Pitts I knew about. I went to the first one and it was about 60X100'. Searched the whole thing and found one penny. I still had a little time left and remembered where there was another one off the beaten path. This one was about 20X30'. In an hour, I dug 33 coins and found one key out of that little pit. The ground was frozen and I had to break the chips apart with my digger. I was hunting with my 'Yellow Fellow', the Ace 250, and sure put that Garrett pin-pointer to work. I think I'd still be looking for the signals if I hadn't had it to pinpoint. At least around here, the chemicals inherent in the chips camouflages the metal in the coin so they all blend in perfectly with the chips. It's fun once in awhile to put the big magnum, the E-Trac, away and hunt fast and simple. Now if only one of the moms would drop her big gold diamond ring instead of her keys...! Regards...Jim
