I know this is not the best photo (my camera is a little old). This chinese (I'm guessing) was found about 3.5" deep in a scholl yard that was built around 1939. Can someone please help to ID it. Thanks Jeremy

During the Ch;ing Dynasty, from sometime in the middle 1600's until the early 1900's, so many of that type coin were made that they became worthless and began to be used for other purposes. One use was as decorations on woven straw baskets that were imported into the United States. Evidently a lot of the baskets were sold around here as just about everyone I know that detects has found several, mostly around old homesites. I dug the one it the photo a couple of months ago.
