I haven't visited this site in almost forever, mostly due to the fact that my wife and I haven't detected much since we had kids (six years ago...). Very rarely do we find the time to get out and detect like we use to. Boy, those were the days. However, we still get out on occasion from time-to-time.
We come to you today in hopes in identifying this ring that the old lady found at her grandparent's farm. My wife's family (catlady or aundrea22 I think is what her old username was) has a bunch of land that's been in the family for shy of 150 years.. maybe 120. Not sure on that one. There have been 2 houses at this site that the family had had, but neither of them have been around for a long time. The first burned unintentionally, and the second was burned intentionally. The place that my wife found this at was the final house location that was last inhabited around 1950 (I think), so that may help at least date the ring. As you can see, it's an adjustable cheapy. I think the material is bronze or maybe copper.
Now that I've totally butchered the history, here are the pictures. If you can please help us, that would be great.
Thanks!
