Visiting Daughter in Chicago for the weekend, Luckily I brought the 800 Excalibur and Got out after a huge lake storm passed thru Saturday. Tons of targets and Cherry Pick'en came up with this Big 10k Pig...Not sure on the weight yet until I get home late Tuesday night.

Dag I am sorry I missed you!! Next trip I will have transport, daughter is at Michigan and Chestnut and I had to hunt the local beach's since I flew in but I did some research and wow would love to hit a few of the southern beach's....leaving a excal, scoop and supplies here for future trips. Next trip you can show me how to hunt these places....:detecting:

Thanks MP, TVR, and Don... It is one killer ring, biggest I have ever dug. Back to hunting the Bay this week, Wow what a change... yesterdays take, no Gold but a lot different. MasterCraft knife, Two silver war nickels Possible, and I believe a Walking Liberty Half.

Very nice marble there too! Got to love it when nice glass, pottery, arrow heads or fossils come up when digging for metal.
