chest waders suggestion and clad day Tuesday

I bought some chest waders from a store and they are frog togs type and lasted just about 2 years. The lady at the company is willing to give me a discount and free shipping, but I'm in such a hurry to do some dirt fishing in the water I'm thinking of stopping at an outdoor store in Albany Saturday and just buy some to get back into the water. Any suggestions on quality and fit for any brand that I might look at. I plan to order the waders from frog togs and keep them as a spare and let a friend of mine use them if we go detecting together when he gets a water detector. I'm thinking of something with insulated materials.
Finally got out to the park Tuesday and only found 17 cents in clad. Got a deep hit which may be a dime or silver ring and hope to go back to this location Friday. Just ran out of time and with standing water from over 4 inches of rain, the skeeters were terrible. All my muscles are tired and sore ,but I sure enjoyed getting out and swinging my At/Pro.

I am on my first pair of Frog Togs, stocking foot. Loving them. Before I always used bootfoot waders.
Now replacements are easier to find, less expensive and I feel I have a better footing in the ocean.
The Korkers Whitehorse Wading Boots with the M2 BOA lace system are extra but worth every cent.
Until this year I have been using the Pro-Line breathables...for about 5 years.
Before that Simms, LLBean breathables bootfoot. All last some 600-900 hours in the water.
Before the breathables I was in Hodgmans neoprene, even before Sterns bought them. I still
have my original Hodgman brown 3mil neoprene waders, Can't really tell where the
original material or the Aquaseal starts and ends, but the bootfoot are still good and no leaks.
They are over 20 years old and they must have shrunk as they are good, but a little tight around the waist.
Newer ones don't seem to last as long. My LaCross 5mil neoprene are holding up fine going into their 4th year.

So now to answer your question: ones that feel comfortable, come up high all-around (front, back and under the armpits).
Neoprene for cold water, breathable for warm water. Just remember they breathables DO NOT breath UNDERWATER!
You still will sweat and feel wet, but they are much lighter and more comfortable than neoprene. Personally I would not
go for the high priced Simms and the like - unless you get them on 50% off sale.

Until something better comes along...Frog Togs stocking foot Hellbender waders with the Korkers...are what you will find me in.
