Chest mount??

mesha

New member
I'm trying to find out where I can buy a chest mount. Are they a of the shelf item or do you need to make them?

Cheers Ronnie :ausflag:

Excalibur or Sovereign? If you are talking about the Excalibur try this http://www.indiannationsdetectors.com/excalaccessories.html

I go to the store and buy a back pack and modify it to fit my chest or back.Few bucks I had two one for my waterproof Sovereign GT box and the other to carry the GT as its factory shipped. I am in the market to buy new ones as the waterproof box has a crack I need to make a new one up.A really simple solution.Don't be afraid to shop in kid and girls sections. You'll have to make straps that fit any way you go. The factory minelab sovereign works well too!

"mesha" I have the Minelab Sovereign GT chest mount bag and it works very well. It has a black nylon adjustable strap to go around your neck or shoulder, I added a $5.00 black nylon adjustable belt to keep it in place around the chest, and I wear the other strap around my neck. It really protects the unit and has a sight window also. If you prefer to keep your GT mounted on the rod, this cover still fits on the unit. It is the bag that is described in your GT owners manual. Cost is $35.00 delivered. You can see it in the manual on Minelab's site if you don't have your manual handy.....
