Chest harness question for CZ 70

Do I need to have the three prong plastic hip mount belt clip to be able to use the chest harness?

The one I had used that clip but am sure more than one variation made....

I have that set-up but didn't like the strap around my neck so I just use the belt with the detector attached to it.

This is a rig I built for a CZ 20 out of an old trolling motor battery box.....fast and easy and pretty comfortable with its wide footprint...a guy can also thread a wide weight belt through it and hip mount it if wanted...so it worked very well...I suppose a guy could attach a finds box and a cellphone box to either side of it..
