Chesapeake Bay Scoop!

I know that there are lots of different types of scoops out there, and I have a couple of different ones, but one really stands out. It's a Chesapeake Bay Scoop, or so I was told, and this dude is really something else. It has huge looped handle that is shaped like a "P" with foam flotation on the top, and an 8" scoop. It's all stainless steel. I was searching the web for more information on this thing and couldn't find anything, but I remember reading something about them in a treasure magazine some time back. Does anyone here know anything about the company that produced them, what they retailed for and why this magnificent scoop isn't in production? Thanks.
