Cherry picking with the D2 nets 3 silvers

My friend and I stumbled upon a spot that had had been overlooked in popular park. Rare these days when there is someone nearly EVERY day detecting there. So far we've pulled two walkers and more than a dozen other silvers and many wheats. My partner usually doesn't cherry pick but I decided to and have been really pleased at being able to dial in the V3i. I do run it pretty hot with the disc open down to -30. I just chose those signals that I believed to be cents or better. I'm really pleased how my whites performed at ID'ing small coins @6" - 8" in tough soil. Once the weather gets milder I'll have tolerance for digging the lower conductors in this spot.

Always loved the mercs.....

Nice silver haul there, Bruce! You've got a good spot to hunt. I know what you mean about competition for those productive sites. I've got a few detectorists in my area armed with V3i's breathing down my neck:rofl: Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
