Didn't find a lot but enjoyed my time out and got some exercise. Found a modern day dime, a 1956 D weatie and some expected trash.
 
That penny looks brand new! Never seen one come from the ground looking that good! :surprised:
 
Congrats for getting out & you weren't skunked! The penny must have been kept in a collection & spent recently & lost right away! Maybe it was a part of the 1956-D mint coins pkg? Ma
 
Congratulations on getting out and finding something. What's the deal with the extra "D" shown in the pic?
 
I never noticed the extra D in the photo--looks like the penny might be more valuable with a Mint error--I would say it was probably in someone's coin collection & was lost or stolen! Ma
