Check your credit card bills

I asked Mary what was on the credit card bill this month. She is in Waterford and I am in Roscommon. She told me and I did not have a clue what one charge was, nor did she. Epoch. Com Vividenter I didn't have a clue so called them. It seems it is a porn site and someone named Donna Cornhorn had an account with them and was using my credit card.

They were happy to refund the last payment, which Mary had just sent in and cancel the account. I contacted Visa and they said I had been paying since Sept, thirty bucks a month. We had not noticed. They also said they would refund everything I had paid as I was never liable for fraud using my Visa. They also canceled the card and is sending us new ones.

BEWARE! Check your bill
 
i have zero balance on all my cards as they are never used online or for everyday things so i would know quick like. I do not think i will ever buy online but that is just me:shrug:
I nearly did once with Dell computers but they wanted me to create an account just to price a configuration, i told them to stuff it and will buy from Costco for my next puter, they are cheaper than Dell for Dell products and you get an extra year of warranty plus a 90 day return policy and lots of support.
I think i will likely buy Toshiba from Costco anyway same deal :biggrin:

nailed for over 5,000 bucks for a couple airline tickets to somewhere in Europe. They must have been flying on the friggin Space Shuttle but it was over 5K. They caught it but the airline did not want to help them. Somebody in Ohio had bought the tickets and they were for A MONTH LATER! They contacted the airline and they said they could do nothing about it. Who ever was flying was not to go for another month.

Dave had to jump through a thousand hoops but finally got it straightened out. I forget all the particulars but we gotta watch those bills!
 
see where I have been shopping and what i have bought! Think I will leave mine as is, and maybe he'll think I am living an exciting double life! :rofl:
