These may be nice if you are doing farm Fields or beaches, but sure wouldn't want to see someone using these in yard, parks, ballfields or schools as it would cause detecting to be banned.
 
I agree with Rick. Any member seen using anything like that in the public eye is asked to leave our MDing club. (We don't have many beaches) This is why I always grab my probe in my hand when someone comes up to me to ask what I'm looking for. The public will tolerate a screwdriver as a recovery tool but not a shovel. (Or anything like it)
