Yeah I found a roll of silver quarters many years ago laying under a flattened out beer can that was buried. The can was full of probe holes but no one but me had brains enough to dig it up. When I first started detecting I found a roll of Buffalo nickels in a park in Yuba City, California. Thought I had died and gone to heaven, being a newbie and all. 
They are rare finds but out there. To bad it wasn't a roll of 1916's with the right mint mark.
