The Sterling Silver arrowhead is from 7 inches down and I thought it was a dime.
the dollar size copper medallion/token? was on edge at about 9 inches and I had a heck of a time understanding the readings but the depth made me interested and the numbers would jump up to 47 fairly consistently so I just had to see what it was. it reads: J. R. GARDNER Mens and Boys Outfitter. Salt Lake City Utah.
The Aluminum Quarter size object was 8-9 inches down and the sound was great, depth was great, pinpoint was sharp..just had to dig it up to see what that was. It reads: "Jackie Cooper" with a head on one side and on the reverse Reads: M - G - M Star (at top) in (middle) Show World (bottom). to bad it is so corroded.
The Button was way down. In fact I could barely get a solid response but the machine would hit 1 of three swings with a 47 and sound Fair and I could tell she wanted to peep but not enough gumption in her so i cranked every thing up with sens all the way, deep on, fast on, everything I could think of and she started to sound like a target with better IDs at 47 on 2 out of three swings. Thinking it might be a quarter at 10 inches or better (basically at the bottom of my depth gauge) I dug it. ( I am a shovelhead you know?) Any way when I Pinpointed the back of a huge plug I cut a section of dirt and I could see the edge...Thought I had a gold coin...but a button came out! It reads: The Art Metal Works Newark N. J.
I think It is gold but not sure. sure is a pretty Eagle though and lots of fun to find.
