Yes Dave....They have made a machine or two in their day. I know they have some wonderful technology patented.

You just can't slam a top brand. It's a man and machine thing anyways. Strong points and weak in every single model...period.

I have found over 100,000 coins including approx 1600 silver coins and over 600 rings all found with my Garretts. I am not sure what there is to be sorry about? My circle of friends use all makes and models of machines. Nobody is sorry about using their own machines, neither do they feel sorry towards any one else because of what they use. We have often times met for coffee and showed our finds. I can't recall anyone in particular excelling with their finds over another person. Unfortunately, there sure is a lot of misinformation out there.

3 feet of snow and -0 degrees

3 feet of snow...."OUCH" 0 degree- I like it

My -30 sucks! Luckily its not a combination of 3 feet of snow with -30. That would be terrible

I apologise for you to the other people that you offend with your comments.
Sorry to hear that you cant see other peoples opinion of any brand of detectors.
I wish you a merry Xmas and perhaps you'll be more tolerant in the new year to other peoples opinions.

Have you listed all the models for the particular years? I am more or less interested in the earlier years, it's good to look back on the evolution of detector technology as the improvements occurred.
Thanks for the listing!

I'll never forget the day I took mine out of the box. I thought that was the prettiest "puke" yellow I'd ever seen. And I kept waiting for it to "suck" the batteries dry like most detectors with all those features and I thought someone had been replacing my batteries on the sly. I even had to turn the sensitivity down because it was getting all those "deep" iron objects that would overload-thought I was gonna be disappointed but found a couple of quarters at 7" a few inches apart at #3 sensitivity. But then, of course, I actually took the time to learn how to use mine.:smoke:

John,
Where did u get that list, pretty extensive and yes I think Garrett did a great job retooling their website, looks great.
