Chatter

My wife and I both have MXT machines. A few days ago we went out to the local playground, a new area for us, and we both had problems with a constant chatter as well as problems ground balancing. No amount of fine tuning, either threshold, gain, disc, or turning the machines off and back on again helped this. We were hunting over wood chips and soil which was fairly frozen a couple of inches down. On returning home I started mine back up again and got the usual steady threshold hum.. Any thoughts? Bob

The next time balance 2" high, lock, and run the Threshold as far back as is necessary. If you are having problems, so is everyone else. Also try to get a Jimi Sierra co-ax loop.
