First time user today after work I turned on the Deus and loaded my program and the machine was full of chatter...I couldn't do ground balance by pumping the coil...moved a few feet away and it did the same thing...Is there a reset I tried other programs and the same thing happened I will need to try and turn the sens way down to see if that helps??? It seemed to happen when I set it up for my 11 coil but after it saw it and now has it in the memory I went back to the stock coil and loaded that coil..

I have a wireless dog fence. When it is on, my Deus is almost unusable in any frequency.
You may have some RFI destabilizing your machine.

Or maybe I misunderstand your post. Only the 11" coil gives you trouble?

both coils chatter and I can pump to ground bal

Do a search on here there is a video that might help you, I posted a link and CZ did as well.....

New to Deus.
Watched that video before and again just now.
Silencer just seems to be the devil for deep coins. Feeling like it should be at -1 at all times.
Also, I read that Tracking ground balance can silence a signal if you go over it too many times (as I tend to do, using the wiggle method of pinpoint).

Silencer is filtering. Depending on your location you just need to use it or you will chase deep iron all day long. I have been hunting a place like this the last week. With the 11 inch coil you can get pretty good depth even with a silencer of two. But the rule should be use only what you need to.

True. Using Manual or Pumping you can squeeze out more depth too.
