Another sign found in Kenworthy's first book, the Eagle is one of the most major treasure signs found in the field. I have found an Eagle at only one treasure accumulation, but I could never quite find the covered opening to the treasure tunnel....thanks to Chuck and his "information" (sometimes, in my heated thoughts about him, I call him up-Chuck).
In his book, we are told that when we find an Eagle in the field, that we are to stand facing the Eagle, then draw a line of sight over the Eagle's right wing (left wing to you as you stand facing this sign). Somewhere along that line a sight you will find the treasure location, or the next sign needed to further your search.
I found my Eagle on an outcropping, just a few dozen feet from a knoll/hill (on the outskirts of a mountain range, which is perfect for setting up a treasure room). This Eagle is only visible during certain times of the day, and as I stood in front of it and drew my line of sight over the right wing, I saw a partially buried, rather large rock up on the side of this knoll/hill. I uncovered this rock map (after marking north on it) and was carefully cleaning it when it broke in two, into a top half and a bottom half. Anyway, to make a long story short, I never found the covered opening to the tunnel. Here's why.
When you find the Eagle in the field, chances are you DO have a treasure room within a short stone-throw from where this Eagle is located. But after you draw that "line of sight" from the Eagles' right wing, and after you find the partially buried rock that will be located along that line of sight...now you need to measure between these two points.....use a 100 foot tape and measure between the Eagle and the partially buried rock. Now, go half-way between these two points and dig. You will either hit the jackpot, or you will find the rock map giving you ONE LAST change of direction and distance to measure in order to get into the treasure tunnel.
NOTE: When you measure from a point up on a hillside to a low point below, you must make sure to make this a "flat" measurement. For example, if there is a ten foot difference in height from the two points, then a ten foot piece of 2 inch pvc will work just fine. Secure the end of your measuring tape to one end of the pvc, then run your tape on over to the high point. Now hold the pvc (which is at the low point to measure to) on its end, making sure it's plumb and straight. Now take the measurement at the high point. Now just measure to the halfway mark between these two points to find your next sign (which will be totally buried).
BE ALERT: If you have done your sign interpretations and your measuring properly, and it turns out that you ARE AT the tunnel opening, then you will find a "tunnel information" rock map. So, EITHER WAY, you're going to find a rock map, the question is: is this rock map telling me of one final step, or is this rock map telling me where the death traps are located within the tunnel system, and which tunnel to follow once inside?
These rock maps will consist of heavily coded symbols, and it is VERY IMPORTANT that you understand the petroglyph system, and know the secret treasure signs and symbols, and how to read rock maps that use these symbols. If you DO NOT understand how to read a rock map and decipher the symbols....THEN FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN TEACH YOU or help you to understand them. If you do not understand these rock maps.....I assure you, you are putting your life, and the lives of those around you, into serious harms way.
ABOVE ALL: Before you remove ANY rock map, be sure to mark magnetic north on it with a magic marker. Failure to do so will result in the loss of major information.
In closing,.... the Eagle symbol may seem to be just like the BELL symbol, or the OWL symbol, but THERE IS ONE MAJOR DIFFERENCE........the BELL and OWL basically tell you about the nearby trail that will EVENTUALLY lead you to a treasure room......while the EAGLE is saying.... YOU ARE....RIGHT WHERE YOU STAND.... AT A TREASURE ROOM LOCATION.
The Eagle symbol is still used to this very day by The Great Machine......to mark out major treasure accumulation rooms.........just look at a picture of The Federal Reserve building. An Eagle sits over the "main opening," to this building, which holds thousands of tons of gold. While the Eagle at your treasure site doesn't sit right over the main opening, it does sit very close to it.....and how many tons of gold and silver are in your treasure room ??? That question is just begging to be answered.
