G'day All Fellow Hunters,
The name is Spanners and i've been detecting for just over 10 years now and can say i have never found anything like this. I use a garrett GTi2500 and have been using garretts for the majority of this hobby and can say the GTi2500 is the greatest machine out there ( My opinion ). I was hunting at a local blue stone home stead which was once owned by a English family, located here in Melbourne Victoria which is on private property ( Permission Obtained ). What looked like the rear side of the home stead i got a deep reading of over 12" and usual i leave the deep ones alone but this time i thought i'd give it a go. Well lucky i did as i found this great medallion, but its got me puzzled how would something like this got here.
Took it to get evaluated by a coin/medallion pro and low and behold she is the genuine article, price wise its up there but to me its the history behind the medallion that gets me going.
