Charger with DC Fault

Curious if any one has experienced this problem.

While out camping and trying to charge with the DC cord attached I had normal power indication, solid green light, but when I loaded the battery into the charger the same light started flashing red indicating a fault. I tried 2 receptacles in my truck and one in my RV (different battery source) and got the same results; fortunately I had some AA batteries I could use while on my trip. When I got home I used the AC cord with the charger and it operated normally.

Minelab is sending me a new DC cord but it sounds like the charger may have a problem in the DC mode since I had had a solid green power light before adding the battery.

I'll update when I get the cord but in the meantime I thought I'd get some feedback and advise folks to try DC charging at home to make sure it works before you get out in the woods and need it.

Did you have both the battery and the WM10 plugged in? I discovered that it can only charge one at a time from DC. Putting both on together caused a flashing light like you described.

Battery only, but that is a good tip.
