Went for a spin with Huntress on sunday evening. We were both running the Excals. We tryed a couple of surf areas that we have not been to since Aug. 24th. We began our hunt at around 7P and the -0.1L had been a little after 6P, but it was still real low as we are in 2 tide days. Winds were light out the SE. I started in the lane and Huntress headed for the mine. I almost immediately twisted off my Grave Digger Max coil bolt, so I went back to the truck and I was fresh out of those, so I used a stocker, with new teardrop washers and hoped for the best. It was just fine, but went to Home Depot today and bought some nice 5/16" plastic units that should do a fine job. Gunna have to do some drillin' and I gotta git some wing nuts for them. When I got back to the lane and back in the game, I got the silver ring and it is 9.7Gs. Was glad to see a ring of any kind though as targets were a little scarce. Ended up with $1.70 in clad from this location. Later in the evening, we decided to make a move elsewhere. Ended up with $.77 in clad at this spot, but no jewelry. The left part of the nut from the clad over is the 1st location and 2nd is the right. We gave it up around 1130P. Just caught up on the last 3 pages of forum. It took all evening and I was WAY BEHIND! GH

Remember we talk about pin point with Exclb.
I tried and since that, in a water, i hunt only in pin point.
Found a lot of bracelets and chains.
This one is 10k and i like it.
Good luck, Alex.

Very glad to see it's working for you too! Max still does not believe me. You can still hear the cool tone when you flip over to disc, but you don't miss anything!

Even in pin point it disc, long tone means u have something dig it.
2 short tones usually means ferrous (crown caps), so i don't flip over to disc, i just dig it all. In deep water (neck deep) not a lot
of trash.

Alex.
