hi all

I want change ton big disk (17") on my CTX
but i hope it's not change the result of id target ?

can you confirm please ? :surrender:

Hi
I do not recall seeing any difference in ID's between the stock and 17 inch coils for the types of targets I am digging which primarily consists of farms, and cellar holes.

thank's,

you think it's just sensitivity better and Deep ?
(and no influence on conductivity mass and FE)

Exemple : a gold at ID 12.08 must be the same 12.08 with 17" ?

I am not a gold hunter. But there are quite a few people here that detect the beaches and I think a few use the 17 inch there. To me it seems just as sensitive and deeper than the stock coil... Yesterday I was digging these very small thin copper washers. I am always amazed that such a big coil picks up such small targets.

Definitely deeper than the stock coil. Pinpointing on some days seems to be a few inches off in a random direction, but it may be me or something. #'s don't change from the stock coil that I can tell. But you will definitely need a harness if you hunt it long- I am good for about 2 hrs without a harness on the 17. It really changes the balance on the machine imo.
