Are there any legal issues I need to know about regarding metal detector use on the beaches? Times I can hunt, or must be off the beach by a certain time, permits etc.... I am going to back the sensitivity down on my Tiger Shark and give salt water a try. I will be going in July. Thank you in advance for your replies... Joe
 
i live in panama city beach.. thats right next to destin.. havent had any problems detecting on the beach other than tourists.. so i typically go at night when people have gone inside and try to find what they lost =) but i've only been detecting for about 2 weeks now...

Thank you! I was wishing I could detect at night, but didn't know if the beaches closed after dark. Find anything good yet ??? Joe
