Only after posting the other shot did I notice that the magnetic lasso took a part of a link out (3rd one up). I gotta start paying more attention to things like that.

How did you get the streaks in the background? I like the way that they are all lined up so straight, it gives a sense of motion. I usually just blur or smudge the background but it doesn't have the sense of motion yours does.
 
I used motion blur in Photoshop. Negative 30 degree angle and somewhere around a 220 pixel distance. Probably took about 5 minutes; the majority of which was using the lasso.
