Center Point, Texas..............

Center Point, Texas is located in the Texas Hill County a few miles south of Kerrville, Texas. There is lots of history associated with this small town. There are 32 Texas Rangers buried in the town cemetery. There are many places to metal detect, sites like Lyons Park located on the river, or the old school that was originally the high school, but is now the middle school. Within thirty minutes driving time of Center Point, you can visit Bandera Pass where the Texas Rangers had a battle with some Indians, or you could visit the old Fort Verde where the army experimented with using camels instead of horses. The entire area is rich in Texas history with many places to use a metal detector. Kelley (Texas)
