General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

There is nothing wrong with talking about Garrett, Minelab or any other manufacture. Many V3i users use the Pro Pointer, probably the best handheld pinpointer on the market. I didn't see your post so I don't know why it was deleted but Findmall is one of the most lenient forums on the net.
 
The post was closed before he could post because there were comparisons being made about different brands. I guess he didn't read the sticky at the top. Oh well, an explanation was given why the post was closed. As you said there was no problem with a Garrett Pro pointer and I happen to own one.
 
insecurity complex? factory influence ? who knows, seems kind of childish. opinions should be taken with a grain of salt anyways. seems funny some own multi brands , and surely compare in thier backyard but dont want to hear it here. hmmm.... oh well ,way she goes i guess. ill probably get deleted anyway, just felt like trowing in my 2 cent piece.
 
This forum has a purpose. It is to help people learn and enjoy their V3i. We provide a forum t compare units, it is the views forum. As I stated once comparisons are started it just gives a platform for trouble makers to take over the forum. I notice the people complaining have few posts. This may be why you don't know what we are talking about.

We have rules, and we the moderators follow them. We haven't deleted posts. If you continue this line I would have to think you are just trying to start trouble. Get over it and put your posts in the views forum. I just might start deleting posts after this if it continues.

your right, didnt know about views forum, not trying to start any trouble. and i do have i tendency to not know what im talking about [already proved that], ill try to keep my b.s.,to a minimum.
 
This thread has nothing to do with the V3i and is being moved to the feedback forum.
 
I had a similar experience regarding pro gold head phones. I was simply asking if there were any difference between them and the Killier B Wasp model as I heard they were made by the same company. Not a comparison just curious if they were the same unit with a different name is all. I purchased the Wasps, and they were cheaper by $20. I wasn't trying to start trouble either.....just wanting input before purchasing..... too late!

I do however disagree with the leniency of the site. FMDF gets my sponsorship for a reason...sorry.

Not really censored per say, just moved. I felt the Sun Pro area was the best spot to get an answer. No biggie...I made the purchase and am happy with it. Thanks for the response....
