"Censored word" Etrac control box protection = solution to screen glare!!

Honestly, I was a bit reluctant to spray my new screen with whatever it is that they send with the covers but man am I glad that I did it!! I can see the screen great in all but the worst sun and even with it in direct line I can still see it a little. Try that with the manufacturer's screen cover! I bought one and seen that they have some cell phone kits on sale for 7 bucks so I got one of those too. I covered my gps, camera, and video camera screen with just the cell phone kit, of course I had to cut it to fit but hey, I can guess that I saved at least 30 bucks by doing that. This stuff is kind of expensive but is relatively cheap protection for our over priced toys!!!

I found that same cover, does provide great protection from scratches, also. This last weekend my hunting buddy and I were out. We had each put our machines behind the seat, from the opposite sides of the truck. After a couple of hours of reconnaissance, we stopped to hunt. Upon getting my machine out I saw that the edge of the coil on his machine had been riding on the middle of my etrac's screen. I just about @*&$^^%$ when I saw a whitish 1" wide mark all the way across my screen. The coil had rubbed on the dust and really left a mark. I dampened a cloth and wiped across the screen. All of the dust, mark and all, wiped off the Invisible Shield protector, with no apparent damage. The protector was worth every penny for me. (For wiping the dust off this or any screen protector, a damp cloth is best, to help remove the debris with as little damage, if any, as possible.) And agreeing with Ex-Sox, the glare reduction seems to be excellent.

They also have great customer service to go along with their product.

Ok I really need this screen protection you are talking about but cannot read the censored words on how to find it. Too many times I dont even try to look at the screen in the sunlight with the cover on because of the glare. please sent a direct messege to me and let me know what the heck you are useing? thanks!

I agree, small price to pay for the benefit. The "side" protectors are a waste though IMO. Bought them, put them on, but they serve no purpose as far as I can tell. If it covered the whole box maybe?

I agree moseng. I guess the protection is there in case of a tip over but it cost way too much for me to allow that to happen.....

i just tried to install the shield on my new E-Trac. The shield wasnt the right size, was about a 1/8 inch too big
all the way around.
i have a shield by the same company for my GPS which fit perfect.
i guess i just wasted my money on the E-Trac shield, oh well live and learn.

That is odd but if you call them I guarantee that they will make it right. Just dont throw the old one away as they will want you to send it back to them after you receive your new one.
