Sit back and relax, I have a little history story for you. While mding at an old school (Georgia Tucker)in my home town of Monroe La. a man approached me and asked me if I was finding anything, well of course not knowing who he was I told him I was finding mostly nails and the sort. Come to find out he has been mding since the early 60's and has hit this school several times, says he didn't find anything but clad. As he was leaving he says be sure and go in front of the school where the flower/shrub beds are next to the school. I didn't think much of it but before I left so I took a look. What I found was a head stone to a grave, but not just any grave it said Unalaska, he was Admiral Richard E. Byrds lead sled dog on his trip to the north pole buried in 1931. Now the rest of the story, before he walked up I had found 1 silver dime 1941, 4 wheaties 1942, 1942 and the other 2 can only read 19 on both. Everything else was clad and misc. Only hunted about 2 hours in the shade of an old live oak as it was very hot. thanks for lookn hh
