took a ride to check a foundation a guy told me to look at , it was gettin late and goin to the car 2 feet of the road I get rt corner crosshair and a solid repeating 28 on the meter and dig about 5 inches and out pops a 1817 large cent .we hoo . love gettin them.HH carl
 
Carl you are on a large cent roll with that thing. I can't find anything but silver. <IMG SRC="/forums/images/biggrin.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":D"> Two more at lunch today in the DFX pounded trash, you pounded it, Ed pounded it a few times, plus a couple more guys but the Explorer so far has pulled out 3 quarters, 1 half, and I lost count how many rosies, mercs, and barbers.

your doin great with that machine , the dfx doesnt compare , ASK DAVE Z ABOUT THE AIR TEST HE DID WITH HIS WIDE OPEN AND THE EXPLORER , HE GASPED AND WHEN IT BLEW HIS AWAY BY 4 INCHES IN UDDER DISBELIEF OF THE REAL POWER OF THE X-MACHINE!!...LOL

Thats funny, poor poor DFX. Nobody would believe me when I air tested a mens gold ring at 24 inches with the WOT. The WOT will give you several more inches over the stock coil, scary huh.
I thought the DFX was good at least for the heavy trash but look at all the silver coins they missed, I am backing off thoughts of buying a DFX as a second detector. Seeing is believing.

Your stretching it a little.Maybe an inch either way.I also had the AC turned down to 70 because of all the iron,had a smaller coil on and didn't use headphones like you did.LOL.Anyhow,you should really tell everyone how after 3 hours you had ZILCH and I had a nice King George and colonial button from a spot you pounded.LOL.Have to get out with you again and see if you can find anything in the ground asides from rocks.hahaha.Dave
 
IT IS TRUE I HAD NOTHING BECAUSE I DID NOT MOVE AWAY FROM THE SPOT WHICH I PULLED MANY COINS FROM DEEP, THAT WAS 30 B Y 30 THINKING NOW THE GROUND WAS WET I WOULD HIT ANOTHER COIN DEEP , BUT I MUST HAVE GOTTIN ALL THE COINS IN THAT SMALL AREA THAT REGISTERED ANY SIGNALS WORTH DIGGING.I WAS WANTING TO SHOW HOW DEEP IT CAN HIT COINS, ITS NO BIG DEAL TO GET THINGS OUT OF THAT PARK , I NEVER WENT HOME WITHOUT FINDING SOME OLD COINS FROM THEIR! DAVE WHAT WOULD MAKE A BELIEVER OUT OF ME WOULD BE SCANNING THAT AREA AND HITTING A DEEP COIN THEN I WOULD BELIEVE HOW DEEP THE DFX WOULD GO. IT WAS'NT ABOUT YOUR ABILITIES , ITS ABOUT THE DFX'S DEEP CAPABILITIES..HH
