Cellar hole finds

New member
Went to a cellar hole in the woods about 3 miles from my house. This place was searched by others thru the years but no place is ever searched out. Found the 1787 New Jersey copper, the date is still readable with a magnifying glass. Then 30 feet away the dime and 4 wheaties were together, a small pocket spill. About 5 or 6 nails came up with the pocket spill but there was enough repeatable good signals to make me dig. Was using the CoinStrike and the 5" coil to get between all the trash. Earlier this year I found a 1734 King George penny there, it was 2" from a tree, gotta search close around trees.

All the coins were about 6". Gotta be more there but all are hidden in amongst the trash. Cellar hole goes back to the 1700's.

That is such a terrific find.
