CB Or Non CB 5900

The CB version over the non CB, is there that much difference between the two.

Have a non CB 5900 Pro SL, have never owned a CB version. I know that the signal balance is on top on the CB's and on the front of the non CB's. Have really like the one I have, set up right it is a deep detector and the meter locks on a target better than most any other detector I have owned. Believe you would be happy with either one.

The first version had the control on the front panel where the coil connector was, but I had an 'XP' 5900 with a top-positioned Sig. Bal. control.

All models might work, but the 'CB' version [size=small]('Composite Board')[/size] was the last rendition that finally progressed to using the most updated 6000 Di Pro SL circuitry [size=small](with the exception of a manual GB instead of the automated/tracking control system)[/size].

Hombre knows all about these as his favorite analog Whites detector. Monte also is a White expert,But I always heard the CB version's are more sturdy and can hold up better do to circuit boards expanding and contracting do to climate change without breaking the solder joints loose. At least this is what I always heard.
