Case of the Fifty Coin day

From the land of the Bluenose.....it was with perplexing ponderance that I considered taking on this case in light of the foul weather that was a foot. It was evident, even to the untrained observer that today was a day to be exploited and should be gained with great haste least the fleeting sunlight be missed.

With the conservation of time in essence and fore most in mind I hailed my horseless hansom and dutiful considered the case. Conjecture with thrown out and an analogical endeavour was formulated as to where to solve the "Case of the Fifty Coin Day." Previous cases, given the time, might have led to different venues but the facts of the case keep on taunting me, alluring me once again to the scene of an earlier if not somewhat similar case at the Village green.

The journey although not unpleasant availed a clue. Yes a slim one. As slim as the fine film of freezing on the lakes that I passed. This could be a difficult task that lie ahead or it could be quickly resolved.

The arrival at the scene was unheralded so I immediately set forth surveying the possibilities that would facilitate my purpose. The first deliverance of the knife proved that I was on the right trail and that the earth would give up a few more secrets that were spirited away in her bosom. Delicate extraction technique's were called for having scored Lady Victoria on a previous encounter. Alias. The sky darkened even further as my feverous swaggering of the white disk produced more coins, moving me one step closed to resolution.

Solved and not without perspiration. Fifty metallic monetary disks totaling $6.51 were collared...case closed.

Now it was time to take a lasting impression of the yeggs least they enter into the collection collective having not been displayed to the general public. The stage was set as so many times at the prescribed rock but no image was to be had. Upon a close inspection it led me to two possibilities...1. the device was broke or 2. the energy cell was dead. I had not even at this point albeit moot considered that the device was without a mean of power which proved to be the case. Luckily in my travel bag I carried my backups. I fear that this may be the last hooray or this season as a long and slumbering whiteness envelopes us!

I always enjoy reading your posts it reads like a novel from the land of the Bluenose.

Don't think I could put words together like that...can't wait to read the next adventure from the "Tales of The Fifty Coin Day".

Chicken soup must have worked well:thumbup:

From the land of the Bluenose...sending them both in after the new year. The Seahunter MK2 purring ok and raring to go. Too sad what is going on on the Alberta Forum sir. Best of the season.

Ah, yes the Big White Sleep envelopes you. Mine started down here last week, hopefully it will only be a nap. Going home with 50+ Jingles in your pouch is a good feeling.
