FROM EAST TN, 3 RINGER CARVED TWO OR CARVED LOOKS LIKE HE JUST GOT STARTED CARVEDING IT AND HAD TO STOP ? ONE HIT SOMTHING , A OLD SPOON AND BUCKLE.

Nice finds. Did they carve the bullets back then? I thought they were molded. :confused: Guess I learned something today. :happy: That looks like the end of a sugar spoon. Thanks for sharing and HH, Nancy
 
then were whittled and carved upon to try to make something out of them.
 
Boy do I feel silly. I thought the bullets were molded, but I've never heard of the bullets being carved into something else afterwards. I would love to see what all was "whittled and carved" out of the small bullets. Interesting! Any pictures would be appreciated to see. Thanks so much, Nancy
