Carrying a Metal Detector as a Carry-On Item ?

Hello,

Has anyone had any problem carrying a metal detector as a carry-on item when flying on a commerical airway? Thanks, Larry...

I've carried detectors on numerous times and have never had a problem. I do take the batteries out and have never been asked to turn the detector on. HH jim tn

I've traveled to the Philippines with detectors before......No Problems.....

And international travel is way tougher than domestic.....Trust me..
