Carry bag suggestions?

Does anybody use an extra long gun style bag for their detector?

The problem I have is my F75 measures almost 55" from top to bottom the way I adjust it for my height, so I need a bag that's at least 57" to comfortably fit. And I'm looking for one that's deep all the way across, so the coil and control box (preferably with short ground stand still attached) can fit in comfortably.

I'm using a bag now that's about 53" and I have to let the coil and part of the bottom rod stick out, that kind of defeats the purpose of a bag.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Use a permanent marker to mark the shaft length and adjust it short to put it away???

I don't know, works for me..

Thanks, Ed. I have shortened the coil, but before I go through that I usually just let the coil hang out. Can't believe nobody makes a longer bag, say 58-60" long that is deep.

I'll keep it on my wishlist and keep watching.

Silverskidmarks - I understand the concept of adjustable, although I don't understand why the sarcasm.

I'd prefer not to adjust the rod every time I put the detector in and take it out of the bag.

I started this thread because I was hoping someone knew of a bag that was long enough and deep enough that I wouldn't need to adjust the detector.
