Carry Bag for CTX - Which One?

Coin Sniper

New member
Hello, folks!

I was just wondering, of those of you who use carry bags for your CTX, which one do you use? I spoke to Bart from Big Boys the other day and he mentioned that the Minelab carry bag could not be used with the CTX, so I'm looking for alternatives that make sense (good build, good padding, large storage compartment, sturdy zipper, etc.).

Thank you all for your time and efforts!

Actually, some of my Minelab bags work fine.

Digger,

Thanks for the link! That bag looks like it'll work. I did, however, see one online that I believe is the one Bart is referring to. It had a note specifying that it was not compatible with the CTX.

Thanks again for the link!

or on it's own http://www.kellycodetectors.com/accessories/metal-detector-carry-bags.htm The CTX 3030 fits just fine, it was designed to also accommodate the GPX gold detectors.

Bart gave me the same advise and I got the one that he recommended and it is excellent for the CTX. It is well made and has plenty of room inside for the detector plus my headphones and etc. It also has a large side pocket with zipper and lots of room for manuals, spare batteries, battery chargers, pin-pointers or what ever you want to store in it. Mine is made of heavy material and the name on the bag is "Treasure Wise by Outdoor Outfitters". I don't think that Bart will steer you wrong. I have been more than satisfied and it gives my CTX the protection that I was looking for.

JW, howdy! It's me, Victor from Miami. I opened up the CTX box that you and Wanda put together for me yesterday, but there was no Minelab carry bag in there. I had no idea that it was supposed to be included, but I'm happy to hear that this is the case. Please ship it to my billing address. THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS-UP! That's what I call service after the sale and I appreciate it.

dadzjunk, Bart seemed to know what he was talking about, so I never got the impression that he would steer me wrong. Quite the contrary, in fact. He was very helpful. Thanks, by the way, for your detailed explanation on the bag that he recommended.

I have no idea how it got left out.

JW, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you made it right and that's what keeps customers coming back! Thanks again, bud!

I use a padded carrying bag for a compound bow and arrow set. It zips open from front tot back and works well for everything I need to take on a detecting excursion.
