Has anyone taken a detector on a cruise? Any problems going through ship security with the detector?

I seem to remember guys here talking about certain islands you can't have a detector period.
I'd do a little research.

I remember reading a post where detectors were prohibited and confiscated… not sure where it was at… do your research Sandy…
