gorgeous ,loads of questions spring to mind ,

how did you do it

is it a lot lighter

is it strong enough for the job

why not go the whole hog and make it a completely straight shaft

Strong enough ;)
My T2 now weight 42 ounce :)
I used a carbon fiber shaft and put in an aluminium tube knit at 140 degrees for the curve.
No straight shaft because, with curve, it is better balanced.

I did a White's rod conversion some time ago to get rid of the wobble and thin handle issues. This thing is rock solid. Posted on the mods forum:
