This is captain bottletops law of metal detecting and should be read and understood by all metal detector users , captain bottletops coin & rings vs trash law is called the law of coinativity.
Law 1 :- For every 1000 coins that you remove from the ground then on average you will find 1 ring. (mostly a silver ring or sometimes if you are lucky gold).
