Cape Cod beach detectorists

Hello. Are there any Cape Cod beach detectorists? I have the Spectra V3 and would like to hunt on their beaches. Over the past few years, I have spent time on the Outer Cape Cod for vacation activities. Have a great day.

I have detected the Cape very little, however, I do know you have to be carefull which beach you detect on as there are a lot of them off limits to metal detecting, for example, Federal. Seems a lot of the beaches where the ship wrecks happened are off limits. But, there are areas to detect and I haven't done to much there, good luck!

The National Seashore if a big NO. There are even no metal detecting signs at some of the beaches the feds are in charge of. It's possible to loose your detector, vehicle and face a huge fine. That said there are plenty of public (and off season private) beaches you can do. I have two friends who live there year round. One is a detector dealer (you can look her up in the yellow pages J&E Enterprises) and well known in the industry, her business is in S.Yarmouth. The other is one of the most prolific water hunters ever but he is a low key guy and you'd never know he's pulling up to even 30 gold rings a month outta the cape waters. He's out nearly every day, well known for ring returns too.
I've had my best water finds in Nantucket Sound. There approx 550 miles of shoreline if you add it all up. My family has had a house almost spitting distance to the beach for over 30 years, so I got in the habit of mainly doing the beaches I walk to.
Good luck to YOU!
