Can't wait to try this on my Tracker....

I had a broken stem on another detector and was out in my garage looking for another stem-THEN I saw it! A White's BlueMax 600 6" coil! It looked like crap and I had to glue the cable connector but it's just what I was looking for on my Tracker IV! Back when I was all Tracker, it was known that the then White's coils were interchangeable and I even had the Tracker plug-in still attached. I plugged it into the Tracker and got a low tone for the nickel and a high tone for the penny. The nickel tone was loud and clear and not as scratchy as with the 8" coil. Woo-hoo! Can't wait for the glue to dry. Woo-hoo!

should be interesting. i use bounty hunter coils on my whites machines as well. have you ever tried the 7 inch closed coil bounty hunters on the tracker ? they seem to do pretty well too. let us know how it goes...........and woo-hoo ! got me doin it now !

Yeah. I found a 7" coil in there, too. I'm gonna have to get a connector for it. That's what was on the Tracker I started out with. The 8" coil that came with mine is only good for large targets. Sucks on nickels.
