Can't wait to get out!

Setting here recovering from a total knee replacement and reading all the post from everyone. Have been putting this surgery off for about 6 years now and decided it's time. Coming up on three weeks now since the operation and I'm getting around better each day. Catching up on my reading and computer surfing. Went out in the yard for a few minutes last week but that didn't last long. I hope to be out digging in 2 weeks. I'm not rushing it. After I'm healed I'm looking forward to my usual 4-6 hour hunts. Keep up the good post's and look for me to post in a few weeks. HH

I had a hip replaced 2 years ago and I'm just now finally getting back to a kind of normal. Don't push it too hard too fast but I totally understand where you're coming from. Hope you heal quick and fast.

Brother Steve, I'm in a similar boat. Had a hip replaced a week ago today. Recovering well, but will be out of commission until later this summer. I only started having problems in December, but it basically put an end to detecting or any other strenuous physical activity. Like you, I check this forum more often than daily just to see what folks are digging--sorta detecting through other people. Good luck on your continued recovery.

Ron
