Beautiful aurora, Dave. I only saw them that nice a few times in the years I spent in Alaska. I know you said you lived in AK, too. Did you get any good NL shots up there?
 
On the island I was almost always overcast and extremely windy. I don't even remember seeing stars from there. If I remember correctly they said there were only 12 days a year that you might see the sun, and the year I was there it was pretty accurate.
